Full Moon
in: Aries 14° October 7, 2025 @ 03:46 am GMT October 6, 2025 @ 08:46 pm PDT -7
Sun is Libra, 14° 08'
Moon is Aries, 14° 08' This full moon is considered to be the Harvest Full Moon, being the first full moon nearest to the September Equinox. Some are claiming this is a SuperMoon. It is not. It does not meet the true definition of a SuperMoon. The moon is in Aries, opposing the Sun in Libra indicative of a month of seeking freedom and independence, while the moon is quick to respond emotionally to change and resistance. Mercury in Scorpio has moved into the spot where Mars was at during the Equinox almost two weeks ago. It is now forming a Yod aspect pattern with Neptune retrograde in Aries and Uranus retrograde in Gemini. Intellectually, we are inclined to push back against the status quo. Our opinions do matter, but others may not think the same. Mercury is square to Pluto retrograde in Aquarius. Pluto has a way of transforming ideology, either by killing the truth we thought we knew, or forcing us into a truth we didn't realize was there. The ironies of Pluto. Venus in Virgo is sextile Jupiter in Cancer, while Jupiter is just starting to trine Saturn retrograde in Pisces. Expect some shifts to occur with finances, relationships, and generally, emotional ties to loved ones. This may feel like a difficult shift at the onset. The way that Jupiter expands on events can feel overblown, but in time, we are likely to find some positives come from it. The trine from Uranus retrograde in Gemini to Pluto retrograde in Aquarius, while sextiles to both Neptune retrograde in Aries and Saturn retrograde in Pisces is more society focused as opposed to personal. We, as a collective, are going through changes that shift our perspectives. Collectively, we have a voice, but that is not enough to undo tyranny. Some want the tyranny in order to prove a point, while others want to stop tyranny, also to prove a point. It's no longer a war of words. Regardless of which point of view we stand on, tyranny or anti-tyranny, this full moon chart gives each side equal footing. The Receptive placements in this chart are equal. The Element placements are mostly balanced, with the exception of the Earth Element. There is only one placement in Earth, (Venus in Virgo) that reduces our sense of stability. But there is a nice balance of placements in the other three elements. There is also a nice balance of Qualities placements. In other words, we are being given resources to help us to decide our next actions. We can react without over reacting. We can adapt, without wilting to resistance. Meditation for the October 7th Full Moon
Like a baby, the conscious mind must sometimes be put to sleep during waking hours.
